Shawna Parks is a riding instructor and horse trainer based at Arriba Vista Ranch in Sunol, CA. She offers riding lessons and horse training in a variety of disciplines. With 25 years of experience in horse training and instructing children and adults in riding and horsemanship, Shawna offers riding lessons for beginning riders or advanced. Her patient and encouraging style of teaching makes her students feel confident and safe. The health and happiness of the horse and rider are her number one priorities! Lin has trained and shown horses in both Western and Dressage for over 25 years. One of Lin's specialties is building confidence in horses that are afraid or students that are afraid due to some sort of horse related accident. She offers training for your horse and/or lessons on your horse or on one of her school horses. Whatever your needs, Lin will set up a lesson/training schedule for you and your horse in order to accomplish your goal. Presently, Lin has a student showing CAQHEA and she herself actively shows Dressage on both her own horse and clients horses.

Lin has studied with Gerhard Politz for the past 10 years. Over the years, she has been active in many clinics, having the opportunity to ride under great instructors such as Betsy Steiner, Conrad Schumacher and Steffen Peters.

Gaited Horse Training and Instruction

Specializing in, but not limited to Gaited horses, Lucinda offers a wide variety of training and riding lessons, including Dressage, Trail, Western, Halter and Saddle Seat for your gaited horse. Lucinda also accepts problem horses and rehabilitates behavioral issues using Natural Horsemanship techniques. Lucinda's end goal is for her horses and the people they own to have a strong bond and partnership, where both can thrive in a positive and healthy environment whether it be in the show ring or on the trail.

Dressage Training and Instruction

Angela has been teaching and training since 1990. She is a successful competitor from Training through FEI levels. She is a USDF Bronze and Silver Medalist as well as a USDF Certified Instructor. None of these achievements are as important to her as the daily joy she takes in “playing” with her horses and clients in training. Angela is offering lessons and training for students of all levels on their own horses.
